Today I am grateful for living in Worcester. I’ve felt pretty strongly for a long time that Worcester was the place to be and my strong group of friends that I’ve met in Worcester have continuously proven that. But last night I had the greatest “Worcester” experience. I went to a “pop up” opening on front street near city hall. One of my students invited me and he had created art work in the show. Along with the art work, a group called the 4 elements performed. And by performed I mean.. LIT IT UP! They rapped, they breakdanced… It was exceptional. And.. Their message was one of positivity and hope through the arts. This is the power of youth, the arts and Worcester.
