Today I am grateful for my little brother. Although i constantly joke that i wish he had been brought back so i could’ve had a sister, honestly i’m not really sure i would’ve survived a younger sister. johnny boy has always been a constant source of unending support. his service in the navy has been admirable and inspiring – he chose to enlist after high school and hasn’t looked back – going to south america, afghanistan and working in colorado – i’m unsure of exactly what he has done because “it’s so secretive” !! ha. john is a reflection of my younger self – finding his way in this life. i do hope that my mistakes have shown the better path for his to follow, although knowing him he’s forging his own.
