Day 6!

This week is flying by, although i have had some trouble remembering what day it is, so maybe it’s just an illusion it’s flying by. ha.

today i’m grateful for my morning smoothie. it may not seem like much but it’s the perfect way for me to start my day. i vary the ingredients depending on what i have on hand – but my basic go-to method is: a banana, large handful of greens, about a handful of dark fruit (cherries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries), if i have protein powder on hand great, if not, i add some hemp seeds, nuts or some other protein powerhouse (sometimes that even means leftover quinoa!) then i add some nut-milk (i’ve been making my own lately, more to come on that another day) or if i don’t have any ready, some water and a tablespoon or two of almond butter (or other nut butter). perfection.
