#day28

Today I’m grateful for my illness. I know that seems weird. Being diagnosed with endometriosis at 15 and suffering through high school with hormone shots, multiple surgeries, hormone treatments, and pain studies. Enduring this through high school and college and into adulthood, explaining to doctors about my disease, finding treatments that didn’t include more surgery and now being completely pain and hormone free has empowered me. Without all the pain (and it was a lot!) I wouldn’t have been able to stand up for my own medical needs and know how bad it can be.#30daysofgratitude #day28 #endometriosis
